Biting your tongue

Sitting still and listening to the teacher

In many ways they act like a preacher

Teaching all kids in the same manner

None of them understanding the true meaning of our banner

We are all different. Everyone one of us unique.

We should learn beffiting a comfortable technique

Different in each way we learn and speak

Making us understand should be the main concern

There should be a spark to cause us to yearn some intellect

We should be taught about daily obstacles we each inspect

We should be taught to budget and prepare taxes

Not be stressing about practicing gymnastics

We should be taught not just about our history

But about many of the mysteries in our world

We must be taught for the better future

Our past has created the present

If we don't teach our era, there will be a descent

If we don't focus on our future, we'll most likely repent

A future filled with wisdom will fill me with content

I hope the teachers realize they are creating the next generation

It is them who are steering this great nation

To extreme success or deprivation
