Bitter Sea


The Autumn sky is vast

There is no end

The swallows fly exultant

at Summers end

 

I track the endless sands

and long for peace

The innocence of birds

brings no release

 

Of meaning I have none

Nor harmony

Yet here I am again

This bitter sea
