bittersweet

black tea turns golden

wisps of laughter become tears in the cup

ripple affecting towards what we built

what you

me

and everybody who ever raised us instilled in us

everyone who ever held a hand to us

who ever attempted to hold a candle to ......our mothers and fathers

the words spoken to us

as we progressed from seeds to sapplings with young leaves that reached close to the sun

when we look back on our life we reminisce in the people

relieving moments we wish were reversed

never occured

happened over and over again

how would we ever forget the love you showed

the tears you brought

and the pain you caused

the things and emotions on top of things you brought us were

bittersweet
