Bittersweet Love

You're like a disease without a cure

A part of me that can't be extracted

Forever infused into every cell of this infected body

Coursing through my veins to overtake my heart

Choking my every thought; not allowing me to function properly

Capturing the best of me and creating a tumor

Slowly drowning my life in yours
