Bittersweet Remnants
The remnants of this love
Reside on the tip of my tounge
Bittersweet
As regret is pressed upon my lips
From my mouth, anger will never leak
A lesson well learned
Mistakes I’ll never repeat
With transparent pain
You will not witness me being weakened with defeat
Bittersweet remnants
From my heart to yours
