Behind a curtain is a sad person

Rewind to a place where

I was happy

And true.

Never would I lie

And never would I cry.

Keep on going

And stay strong.

Receive the advice of others,

Really never paying attention at all.

You just nod and smile.

Pain. It’s my last name, just spelled differently.

Another metaphor, I guess.

You lie to me again.

Now, I just smile.

Everyday, I hid behind the curtain.
