Black

A term we use when we ought to be heard.
Yeah we've been slaves, but haven't you observed the way we treat other's of the same skin color?
Enslaved by this slaved mindset that we have to be the best, but not let any other surpass.

What is it to be black but treat others so black.

I digress as we progress in this fight that we often hide and cover, because we are black.

So many successes became failures due to the hatred in our nature to see one from the same background fall and tumble, it gives us pleasure.

What comes to mind when you hear the word black?

Crimes and negativity, poverty in impoverished communities.

We shout protest the protestor who wants to give us better, but declare no other race is helping us to see clearer.

Its a matter of its own, something us Blacks apose, we hate to see one of ours doing better I suppose.

We are the sickness, the very problem to begin with.
No unity in everything we do, and soon there won't be any Blacks I presume.
