BLACK

The color I wish I could be free of

The color I wish they didn't see
BLACK
The color I'm so ashamed to claim
BLACK
No body knows my name
Because I became
BLACK
The color that allows me to be slapped around
and fall through the cracks
BLACK
The color that will always remain
and drive me a little insane
BLACK
the color that I will always be accused of
Even without any proof
Truth is
it's because I'm
BLACK
