Black is

Black is beauty

Black is pride

Black is bold and free

Black is me,

And I am proud to be

African- American and ebony,

Fearfuly and wonderfuly made

Build for success but told I will fail,

But I will beat the odds and make me enslaved ancestors proud of me,

And what I will be,

Black is intellect

Black is me...

Black has been beaten , but not broken

Rejected but still strong,

Black is still standing after being done wrong

Black is more than just a color it's now my pride and joy and I wear it with honor.

Black is heritage,

Each shade of black comes with a diffrent story of oppression and depression of a people,

But black is me and I am proud to be ... BLACK
