Black and Stormy Nights
Black and white.
No, it is only black.
Leave my life for a while
But wake up with some bile
Cry over the time I have lost.
Grateful for the break
Of dreams or to be awake.
Not think of the life
I have lost,
I once begun
Because I might as well have none.
Memories will always
Get me through rainy days
But they will not light
A fire on stormy nights.
