black and white
Black and white
by nate
Yo check it
They try to tell me the world isn't just black and White but that's how they paint the picture that night.
They try to drain me of my blood at night.
Yet I stand tall and don't move knowing when they snatch me up like a filthy rug from my nap .
That my sacrifice won't suffice.
They try to paint the picture in color.
After making sure we know who runs the show.
They throwing more shade than a tree at sunrise.
And when they mouths creep open out come lies.
Slander becomes first nature second nature is breaking blacks backs like dogs like to crap.
I'm tired of that.
When we do nothing and shine bright you know they gotta tint ya window.
And paint a different image for others to see.
Perspective be the culprit of so many views that got misconstrued.
Yo check it they try to tell me the world ain't just black and white..well
Actions speak louder than words.
And if i go down for some shit I never committed.
Ya about to raise another activist tonight.
I'll turn on my lights till I got everybody's attention then make the world go dim.
My power is greater than infinite when I give these words a spin.
Drop poison in my veins I'll keep walking..so what you think ima do about the poison you slipped into my mind ima keep talking.
So keep stalking.
I know they keep they eyes open to try to get an opening.
Well opportunity is the gate way for the devil so I won't give none.
Pass the bread drop the crumbs.
I'll vacuum up with my passiveness when I'm done.
I'll erase some skeptics till they go epileptic.
Then trip a traitor till they tip they waiter.
This is no sadder but I'll sure be passing over you like a hawk.
Till you get it through ya skull.
I speak what I think and I walk only what I talk.
Be blessed.
