Black and White

Black the aura of no color White the mixture of every color We started off red The color of love Red passionate nights and days Where not even the greys of the clouds could stand in the way Blue the tears of joy that every moment shed For every second spent was one of happiness We were the mixture of every color We were white Pure, good Two birds in flight To paradise Where nothing could stand in the way of what we thought was a pure thing The colors of our flight morphed and changed What seemed to be purity In one night turned into sorrowed souls Losing every essence of color that was left in us At our arrival destination We no longer presented the color white We were surrounded by blackness The absence of color The absence of anything We had become nothing White the presence of purity The presence of essence The presence of passion The presence of love The presence of what use to be us Black The absence of color The absence of feelings The absence of love Black Is what we've become.
