Black Bird?

Hello! How are you?

Nice Day after this Graduation

well with all those four years of aggravation and Determination

Let's say I made it

Reminiscing on my so called life

sneaking in my head hours through the night

Life's no fun without something to jump and make you feel alive

I'm never gonna fly and I'm never gonna reach that sky

was it the death and murder of my brother that brought me to

my knees before my final show

or my best friend blowing his steam and letting go

was it my attempt of erasing my existence and sick of looking in that mirror

you shattered freak and coward of nothing

where did you go before the show ended

you took a bow at the last crowd but for whom

hmm not me because I am  not me if that make sense

I am not brave and I am not what you think I am but can I be

Did the yelling of his words of calling you a bitch and

aborting your name into the darkness

did the whips on your face and the touching of strangers make you feel less

safe

did the empty promises of yourself make you go why do you try to fly

blackbird

You're  never gonna do It so shut your pretty mouth and pay those bills

go to college and get a degree

and be an adult and repeat after me I'm free

I'm happy and I'm free and my tainted eyes and loose smile can tell you

I'm happy with being normal and just sticking to what I know

let us all agree not to be creative ever again

because when we are the doubts come and in the long run your told to shhh

follow the red light and stop when its green

Black Bird what did I say about trying to thin for yourself

you are not you silly but someone else

ugh you're gay you're ill

here take a pill and forget you were ill

then take another and another

Blackbird did life not teach you to bow down

well hurry up and take the crown
