The Black Blanket


It’s like a blanket, A black blanket, It covers the insides Then it shrivels to the core Leaving the vessel Empty Cold Alone So, so alone There are no tears No feeling Until the blanket shrivels Then emptiness That is all, But somehow it beckons waterfalls
