The black city

The Black city In the giant black city Black blood flows in it Black people walk in it Black road that leads to deep forest of no return, can be found in it I was weary and amazed of it black nature I swear to find the misery behind its black nature So I went in search which turn to a research In the black city I dwell in It was so thick and deep It's full of black work Black people Black path I began my journey I saw men, women Young and old Infant and unborn I saw them crying I looked around and couldn't found its past enslaver Shouting and rolling saying Independent!!! The black city enslave it habitant I saw them marching flank to flank Beads of sweat like a water lilly beaded their faces Vociferous reaction of the beaten belt And saying no to the whip under the midday sun They savour the plum ripening of the sun under the tree of the sky There eyes cried, shielding blood There throat aches The pitch of death was dug By their Lords Lords whose death had been dug by the Lord In the black city I found some young men and women with a plasted brown paper Going into different block and coming out Looking distraught and feeling anguish It pained me when I understand there predicaments There are searching for job O city I dwell in After walking miles again I found riches Happy and rejoining Saw resident thy had been made Paradise I was lost in thought of the beautiful man-made paradise I was cut short when I saw the black city people with different items A black short and long pistols Black rides Black caps Black masks They are arm robbers I ran in search if safety O black city I dwell in The black blood flowing in it is just a rat poison Vanity upon vanity All effort looks like a shadow Friend and philanthropist are just a reflection I feel tensed after my journey In the black city O black I am!!
