Black as day and white as night

Why should my skin affect how people see me. A white bunny can still be hurt, slang like cracker can sting as much as a whip. The past affects us all but you are not slaves like the Israelites fleeing Egypt you have been free. So why do you act like you suffer, you are free from the chains of the past. My past has chains thousands killed for the name of there religion yet we do not blame. The color of skin should not become a target the lightness or darkness does not come through are skin but from our hearts.
