Black Female

Skinny, Five feet zero inches, melanin young lady

Surrounded by no good but keeps faith strong asking the Lord to follow her.

Life is no fairytale, no once upon a time. She's  been strong for so long but feels her grip loosened.

Learning that greedy people only hang around when you promise them blessings but stay loyal to God when he promise you Heaven

Getting lost in the madness, tired of living with demons cause they're always inviting more.

What's hard time without the people you love. Gotta learn to be content until you love yours.

Seventeen years breathing but her presence said more. She asked for strengthen from the Lord up above.

Her parents taught her that your dreams are just as hungry as your demons make sure you feeding the right one.

Thank you mama, for not raising a fool. It hurts watching you slaving and barley hanging on

She's sick to my soul, just hope and pray we'll make it through one day.

She's not going to settle for lesser, not going to take what they handed.

It's hard to see the good when there's no light

But trust and believe she's going to hold on tight.

Clothed with dignity and strength and laughs without fear of the future.
