Black Fur Floor


Afternoon falls as the sun rests A black scheme covers the sky A house alone by the cliff only a mutt by the homes floor An innocent beast when companies around A monster, demon, Cerberus when strangers about The master is home tonight resurrecting his home from the dust of the afternoon his companion by his side Cleaning, washing, drying, painting the master grows weary the mutt too falling asleep they are Morning arises the house stands still the owner and his pet have left the house only a ball of fur is left behind. The crunch boards began to plunge its floors The fur ball rolls to find its owner that is all.
