Black Hearted Love Affair

Your darkened lips

Lay the kiss on my wrists tonight

Splinters in the asphalt

Drop daggers through my eyes

The color of the sweater

She wore in the dark

Unveiled her darkest thoughts

Brought her secrets to light

Her sinister smile

His perfected lie

Clash the path of eternity

Shade the starry sky

The once love filled passion

Now crumbles in the dust

Crushes the youthful innocence

Burns the eyes of lust

They fall to their knees

They wither in despair

They’ll rewrite the verses of evil

As their Black Hearted Love Affair
