The Black Hole

               Sits amongst us

Can be a friend

Can be a foe

But how could something so dark be a friend?

                Sucks you in

Just to spit you out

All disheveled and askew

It sucks you in

Just to make you turn on yourself

And your friends

                Results in

Irritability

Mood swings

Rapid misfires in your brain

Even the ending of a life half lived

                Surrounds you in bleak darkness

So cloudy

So unbearable

No light will ever shine through

If only you could escape

If only you could let someone in

But then

They would be just like you

                Will not leave your side

It. Will not allow you to live outside the box

Even if you want to be heard
