The Black House
For 208 years the house has always been painted white.
The opposite color was nowhere to be seen in sight.
Who would've believed that the color of the house would ever change?
Showing us as a people we have unlimited range.
Now that we know the house can be painted black,
We cannot cut this country no kind of slack.
No more excuses, please quit the complaints,
Just get your brushes ready because the lord has the paint.
Who will be the second to paint after this coat is worn?
Maybe this piece will inspire you to surpass the norm.
I've always been a proud American,
But I'm a prouder American to say that the house is black.
Finally! They realize that it's not too much that we lack.
