Black jacket, oh black jacket which hides my scars so well,
however do you mask my discolored blood from Hell?
Every day I fight the urge, but every now and then,
my shard, undiscovered, digs deep into my skin.
Why exactly am I doing this?
Many reasons do I know.
But, dear black jacket of mine, you never let it show.
Those days I go unfed, my black jacket shows no thinning,
as well it hides my broken heart when on the outside I keep grinning.
Black jacket, oh black jacket which hides my scars so well,
I thank you so for masking my discolored blood from Hell.
