Black lives
Murder seems to be defined by a color.
While we chant, scream and riot for peace and equality
police in battle gear attire make target practice.
black lives as the object of desire, do matter
Hate in ones eye with plans to crucify.
Innocence stained by lead drawn sin.
As we Unarmed and young are sentence to death.
The darker the skin tone seems to be the issue
only in a world as cruel will you find the men in blue.
free to run wild with blank stares and weapons near.
You must wonder if theres a war out there.
Why do the blue aim and shoot as if they see a demon on the loose.
To protect and to serve is the end goal.
But I don't feel safe when I step out the front door
unless I have a weapon free to aim with hate as my issue
cause black lives matter even when police have there own secret agenda
my life and others with the same tone haven't considered their lives to surrender.
