A Black Mans Truth.

Why is it us?

Only us.

Why are we the ones who get blamed

For every other little thing,

Not all of us are bad.

They kill us left and right.

How do you sleep at night?

Knowing more and more innocent lives get taken during the day

Each night, I lie awake. inside my head.

The feelings and thoughts wont go away.

Is it really that fair?

To let your white pride get in the way?

For you officers to take another innocent life,

Sometimes I wonder,

Would it be different if I were born White?

If i were to do a bad thing but not get as severe of a punishment?

The racism, its gotten too far.

Nobodys going to change a thing,

But wasn't it always like that.
