Black Movement

Fri, 01/13/2023 - 00:06 -- CarterB

We march and we fight, for what is right For our rights and our freedom, day and night We stand up and speak, against injustice and hate For a world where black lives truly matter, it's not too late

We've been held down, for far too long But our voices are strong, and our spirit is strong We remember our past, and honor our kin And we're not done yet, this fight is not thin

We march for equality, and an end to the pain For the rights of our people, to not live in vain We stand for our children, and for the ones before For a future that's brighter, and a world that's more

We will not be silenced, or pushed to the side We'll keep pushing forward, with our heads held high For the movement is now, and the time is right To stand up for ourselves, and to make it right
