Black People Matter
Black People Matter
Since I was little I was told we have it the harsest in life that
Life can be a gift
Beautiful days to come
For life itself is great
People all around us criticize and stare
By the way we look and what we wear
Don't Black People Matter
How the color of our skin
Some could see it as a burden to be the color they are
Black People Matter
Although it is not as the 1930s wear we sit at different areas
But it's there hidden like mold under the ferry going for a quick breeze
Black People Matter
The change comes from ourselves to stand tall to show our pride
To reveal our own bright side
To the people who care they can come to no matter the race if they look like do-la-de-do
Our destiny is of our choosing if we want ir
The thing we need to do is just admit
Because Black People Matter
We are capable to have the confidence, intergrity, and pride of those before us
Since we are all beautiful creatures from the Lord himself it makes sense to know
Life can be a gift
Beautiful days to come
For life itself is great
To show the world Black People Matter too
