Black Queen

Black Queen

Angry, irate, ghetto, depressed and oppressed

That’s the stereotype they give us

Loud talking hand clappin, ginger snappin’ wanna be heard sistas going

    against your own sistas

You don’t see they’re trying to divide us?

They know an army of Queens is strong beyond means

So, they try to intervene

Now everyone wants to be independent and act as if occasionally, they don’t need to lean

Stop sis, together we can do this

We may not share the same dream, but you can be on my team

If you’re setting goals and executing plans, lets lead the way

So many others need an uplifted self esteem

Its SOS, save ourselves

We now need to intervene

And although right now I’m speaking to my Black Queens,

No matter the color of your face,

There is love and empowerment for all colors to be seen

And please, please, please remember a Queen without a King is still and always will be a Queen!
