Black Roses

you live to die

but to die is to gain

the body is gone

but the spirit is everlasting

the memories are like flashbacks

but the present causes you to ache

days of specialty are hard to celebrate

although their death is a celebration

celebrating that they're going home

home, which is where they belong

tears help the pain go away

God's words cures the soul

your body is on Empty

but the sorrow and pain is on Full

the only cure is time

time that was taken away is all that is remembered

from this day on, the question that will be asked is, "Do you remember the time?"

He that is within you comforts

no one or nothing can replace your happiness and joy

although his presence is gone

his spirit sings I'm Still Here

pictures will cause the heart to tighten

and the eyes to swell with tears

you are not alone because your loved one sits with the one that keeps us all

they both dwell in your heart forever
