Black Shadows aren't African Americans

Beautiful shades of brown Coffee to Sienna Umber to Brunette Tawny to Russet Beautiful shades of brown Yet seen and treated like a black silhouette in town Are we a shadow to a Caucasian man? Who made that plan? Whoever made it, is wrong and it's not true I stand by this as long as the sky is blue Nobody is a slave to someone's shadow as they walk We aren't nobodies, we're humans who can speak your language and talk Born beautiful and free That's how it's suppose to be For us and everyone That's the only way we can all live peacefully under the sun So stop discriminating and treat people equally and fair We can all enjoy eachother's company under the sun and feeling the cool breeze of air
