Black Sheep

The colors of life are all that surround,

from which social media is everywhere to be found,

Facebook,

Instagram,

Twitter,

and Tumblr,

hashtags, likes, are all but words to make me humbler,

these are but walls that hide true beauty,

there is no filter on my smile,

and what is a hashtag but a dial?

There is no need to hide anymore,

we all are but prisoners of war,

but beyond those walls we must explore,

I fight along my own battles,

knowing that beauty is something much more than skin deep,

and we are all mere black sheep.
