Black Tar Serpent

From oceans east and west unto the marshy plane

The world is ever shrinking in the Black Tar Serpent's reign.

Not obstacle nor barrier can halt the serpent's greed,

And no creature is safe, for she shall not refrain

From slaughtering that block the path to satisfy her need.

Feel her caress, her gentle touch, to salvation you she'll lead

As she constricts around the neck of Life herself.

Or is it the parasites that burrow in her back

And stimulate her appetite to senseless attack?

Know they not what they have done?

Will they give Life's neck no slack?

When the Serpent's growth is the prize they won

And from the taste on the Serpent's tongue

The parasites will spread to Life's last breath.
