Black as White

Black.

Obsidian hair,

so deep it's ringlets,

better than silver rings.

Onyx eyes,

so innocent their glances,

better than pure pearl.

Burnt skin,

so smooth it's touch,

better than cream silk.

Black.

The warmth,

The security,

The color,

The preffered.

Black.

Now I am as black as white.
