Black Wings of Protection

I don't want to feel this way

Left out, not apart of the game

Jealousy, Rage, Hurt and Fear

There is no room for them here

A Love I found, not Pure and True

A Love meant just for me and you

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Doubt swirling in my Heart

Fear circling my Brain

How can I stop the Pain

I was falling, slipping

Nothing to hold on to

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Wings from below fly towards me

Dark Wings, so full of Grace

I am Light and He is Dark

Between us, there is a Spark

A Love so Bright and True

His Wings wrapped around me

Safe and Sound, No Pain or Fear around
