BLACK YEARS

Looking out my balcony on a Sunday evening I drew the world on a paper Its axis from North pole to South pole Its continents from Africa to Asia Its Rivers from River Niger to River Nile Crossing the red seas and Euphrates Dreaming a climb on mountain Everest Looking down the valleys of San Lius As the moon smiles on the Nepal's flag And the east rising sun of Biafran land Why is the world so small on a sheet? Like the time moving fast and round but slowly in a clock Like the four walls of a prison cell Bail is free and freedom is priceless Lo,Mandela painted the green light after twenty seven black years
