Black, Young & Gifted

Black:

Blessed hues praise me

Ancestors lives given for mine

Peaceful yet psychotic from current events

Strong in bone structure and dense

Young:

Pure in heart full of sin

Easily taught repetitious lessons

Glowing skin mysterious stretch marks

Short memories yell longevity

Gifted:

Talented words exude from my fingers

Kindness leak from my soul

Caring has become an art

I became art

While being black, young and gifted
