Blackest Blue

cursed lip,

bitten tongue,

choking on teeth,

all the while, crack a smile.

You frighten me,

although I will never show you this.

The Doom of You

splinters my ears

and spills salt down around my hallowed eyes,

but don't you know,

I love you.

Sharpness fades from my words when spoken,

normal negativity gives way

under gaze.

Your hair waves final good-bye

as you shake your head,

No.

You have no Love.
