Blackness

Just like the oil that runs deep

Black history and culture is rich

Just like the scars of slaves from being whipped and beaten

I, too feel a sense of pain and anger when I hear or read of a black person mistreated

Through all the pain and suffering there's hope for blacks

A ray of hope just like the sun, to be precise

We are children of the sun

We are the children of kings and queens

Most important we're part of the children of Christ himself

A mark of our influence is everywhere

From North America to South America

In North America we have the oblelisks

In South America we have the pyramids

We are a people full of warriors

We are people that never give up

We are the cardle of civilization

We are BLACKNESS!!
