Bland

When you ask “What flavor would you describe yourself”
Kids say “Bland” because when you’re at the age of 12
being sad is popular
But for the people who are sad, who feel single cellular

No one believes you no matter what you say

So you just sit and wait for a better day

But the day seems like it will never come

And we look in the mirror and see what we’ve become

And we feel like we deserve the pain

And our happiness in chained in our depression's chains

People think your trying to fit in
And so we play our wrist like a violin

We rely on others for happiness instead of finding it

And we rely on those cuts, on those small slits

And we can’t tell you what's wrong because you won’t understand

So all we can say is that “I am Bland”
