I wish to look with my ears

and see with my mind.

strip me of my eyes

take away the lies

show me the truth in

disguise.

help me find

what rests behind

the judgment

the ugliness

the sickness

infecting us

show me the light

and the love

and the trust.

lead me to the life

residing behind

waiting for someone

to uncover and find,

show me the world

with an open mind

and let me see it

blind.
