A Blank Beat

When I look at you I see disgust, I know you can't be blamed, its nature

But why did you have to be like this? why did you have to be mentally disabled?

Trapped by the responsibilities called you

Hate runs in my bones but love chases it away

I want to be an individual of my own not set back by your impairment

I could never leave you, were connected by the bond of sisterhood

You must find yourself; become your own individual

Acceptance awaits you

We will climb the moutain of obstacles that hold you down

Returning to the side of precious moments, were laughter fulfills your deepest desires

The pain clouds you while stress floods you

Perserverance is the key to find your blank beat

Cover your ears, close your eyes and stop

Stop everything for the moment of bliss

It speaks to you and you only

I will not control you only guide you to your true self

You'll find it just wait and listen to the beat

Boom da Boom da Boom Boom Boom
