The Blank Canvas; Splattered Thoughts

I write to release, I write to escape, I write to understand. To organize my thoughts and put them in perspective. I'm not sure how I started nor how I will stop. Writing is there for me when no one else is. My pen speaks the words that my mouth will not, it even reveals the thoughts I hide from myself. The blank page is my canvas, while my pen is the paint brush. My words paint a picture of memories, fears, hopes and dreams. These are my words that burst at the seams. Once my words are written and there is nothing left to write, I am at peace. I'm at peace with my mind, My heart, My life.
