Blank Space

I keep holding on...

                   To that smile of yours

                    Left printed in my mind

It's like a fake tatoo

Carved upon my skin.

I keep forgetting they don't last

But i convince myself they do

It can't

It shouldn't

So i have to wash it off now

Wash you off

You are just dirt

On my skin and

I need to start again

With a clean slate

A blank space
