Blank Thoughts
Dust floats around my empty mind
Sixteen years I've witnessed death
Gunshots booming through out the night
Bullets pressing against my window sill
I have no happy song
Betrayel within my family
My soul as cold as winter snow
Every Sunday I listen to homily
Burst of cleaneless over joys my soul
Disrespected. Is it because I'm black?
I don't care if I may seem childish
My life is flooded with mistakes
I just have to change my mind set
So what I may be biligerent
It just keeps me out of trouble
I can do better, just give me a chance
You learn something new everyday
People come and go
I make new friends
I lose disloyal friends
Everything must come to an end
I'll soon be grown
Out in the world living on my own
Just me, myself, and I.
