Blanketed Beliefs
I lay here, looking into blank eyes.
flustered with lies
the certainty of faith, powerfulness of the right
their belief possesses no bearing on reality
Mans conviction prevails without verity
denying our vitality, deceiving our integrity
it shatters our mortality twisting and turning
an affair between illusion and truth.
