Blanketed with a Dream

And when he came that first time to my place,
when he took that two hour nap which he said
was just wonderful, so he asked me if I could bring
hm a blanket, so I brought him a big puffy blanket,
and he took that long nap; and I remember how,
after he had gone….At night I took that blanket
and slept with it because it still had his smell,
and I remember just holding close close close
that blanket, and just wanting to vanish into his
smell in that blanket. It was like blanketing myself
in a dream with this person’s smell that has just seized you,
you know. Seized you entirely. I remember being
so powerfully affected just by the smell of it.
Yeah so I was just covering myself in a dream as I fell asleep
