Blast Away

A blast in the past Wouldnt necessarily call it that Maybe an atomic bomb Because the memories we shared have now been removed and destroyed I tried to live the present with the expectation of my past That led to nowhere My I love you ? Yeah ill take it and give it to someone more naive They will really appreciate all that i do Im past you and your guilt tripping Because now i have invested in shoes without laces Maybe thats what was holding me down Our names written in this everlasting sand Have now been banished from my memory Its amazing how the pot always called the kettle black But now im gone and dont plan on coming back You will miss me when im gone But thats just it im gone and will never return I want to wish you the best of luck but im not I hope your heart becomes a doormat for your next Maybe then you will learn But now im just going sit back and watch you crash and burn
