Blazing fires

Blazing fires are the only light

Down here in the dark

These flames are all that's in my sight

Heat is something you can not fight

In this place where rebellion is dimmed

For  blazing fires are the only light

This place is like an urban blight

Neglected to the point of fading

Because these flames are all that's in my sight

Here I lie forgetting daylight

In this frightful heated prison

For blazing fires are the only light

This place is where I do write

A place unlike where this will be seen

For blazing flames are the only light

These flames are all that are in my sight
