bleak

I once would walk in the sun and smile

as I felt my skin absorb the heat.

Life was radiant.

Now I only go out side

when it is dark or cloudy

because the sun burns my eyes

and my skin spits out the heat like salty tears.

Life is slightly bleak.

I used to avoid sitting in my room

for long spans of time other than sleep.

I was radiant.

Now my gut turns

when I leave the house

and I all want is to sleep.

I am bleak
