Bleak Eyes

The stars have left my eyes

Fleeing with all my silly dreams

Running away with the hope

You could ever love me again

I lie in the ocean

Let the water take me

The cold hands reach from below

To take ahold

I fought it once

For you

But now I no longer have that

I no longer have a reason to live

The stars have left my eyes

Just as I have left your heart

Though you stay in mine
