bleak future?

“No one ever told me that life’s challenges would be so hard. It all began like a hallmark card. A perfect family of four. My life’s aspirations would soar. Me and brother, My mom and my dad, didn’t realize that their divorce would leave me so sad. Empty and confused as the custody battle ensued. When would it all end, I turned to my loved ones to tend, to my aching mind and aching heart. I wish I could begin at the start, to make the difference in our lives, being the youngest I learned to strive. Years of the battle, years of our cries, I didn’t realize it would prepare me to open my eyes to the lies. Things aren’t always the way we plan but I’m prepared to take my stand. I will be strong, I will be loyal to my education will drive me along, on the path of freedom to be independent, to be able to provide. No more looking for food or toilet paper outside. Now as I ride along, I can sing my song just as my mom did all the years long to ease the transition and took a strong position to push me here, she made things clear that without an education I was bound to repeat as she did. I’m just a kid, thinking as an adult at such a young age, I plan to open my book to that page. To remind me of how life would be, the only one of my family to intend on finishing college here it all begins at SBCC. Began to secure my ride with a fast-pitch and a slide into home plate but my heart defect would seal my fate. As I always have, I now rely on my good grades to pave the way to complete the plans I’ve made. Medicine is my future; humanity is my goal for helping people in their time is deep within my soul. Grants and loans I can rely, but the scholarships I feel I can apply. To the long journey that is ahead of school, school, school rings in my head. Once I cross that stage with that paper in grips; I can truly see the blessings of my well-earned scholarships.”
